Wedding Dresses in 2007
What can you expect of the wedding dresses available in 2007?
Lace
Well there is still a lot of heavy lace around which gives the dresses a vintage feel about them and makes them look incredibly sophisticated. These are also great for those of us who do not necessarily have the kind of figures that can take the figure hugging, light reflecting look of a satin bias cut dress!

right designed by Charlotte Balbier. This dress is called Arabella and features a pretty lace shrug effect as well which we particularly like.
Ruffles
Ruffles feature heavily in the 2007 wedding dress collections as well and again give the gowns a rather vintage feel. My personal opinion is that they look best in cream or oyster as this seems to suit the style more than white. But that is not to say that there are not some very pretty white ruffle gowns available too.

This particular gown is by sinceritybridal.com. This dress is a 2 Piece. The Corset is draped Taffeta corset and the skirt, layered soft Tulle which is completely covered with small gathered rows of soft Tulle ruffles. The bodice is decorated with a handmade Taffeta rose with bead-ties, has fabric covered buttons on the back. Available in Ivory in sizes 6-22, this dress comes with a matching Tulle wrap.
Of course, you will still see a lot of the more traditional shapes and designs such as the full skirted wedding dresses but these two particular styles are the ones that we feel particularly stand out in 2007!
Have you recently bought your wedding dress for a 2007 wedding? If so, why not let us know what style you went for, we won't tell anyone - we promise!
