Casual dress - wedding dress

Personally I think it is much more difficult to select a casual dress for a wedding dress. Choosing a traditional big wedding dress is easy; there are simply thousands upon thousands to choose from. But, not everyone wants to go down that route and some brides simply want something a lot less formal.

 

One of the most beautiful brides I have witnessed was a friend of mine who got married in a restaurant and wore a three quarter length gown in black!

If you are looking for a casual dress for your wedding, you would be better to look around those shops that are not traditional wedding dress shops particularly at the moment, as there are so many beautiful vintage styled gowns in the shops. Again, a good time of year to look for a casual wedding dress is Christmas, when all the party frocks are around, or if you are on getting married on a budget, then the January Sales!

The most important thing about your wedding is that it reflects your personality. You will want to look back on your big day for years and years to come and remember it fondly. If you are being forced into having a type of wedding that does not reflect you and your partner then you won’t feel comfortable and the same goes for your gown.

These days, almost anything goes, so if it is a casual dress you want for your wedding, then that is what you should have.
